April 2018 I started a podcast — Shadowlight — sharing stories of the light that lives in the shadows, humans who created abundance of adversity & love of heartbreak. May 2018 I had someone who listened to my podcast reach out and ask if I coached. She was an entrepreneur who resonated with my story and was moved by the way I shared it and spoke about healing/growth and wanted to learn from me. I googled coaching packages, made one on the fly, and voila my first client.

A month later I was in a Pilates class and started coaching the Pilates instructor who was having issues in a non profit she started (lol who else is like this) and the woman next to me pulled me aside after class. She told me her name and asked if I knew who she was. I did not. She told me she ran a global personal growth company and loved the way I think and asked if I did consulting. I told her I did, we exchanged #s and set a time to speak. Before googling how much consultants charge, I googled her name. She was multiple-times-on-Oprah-big. We started working together the next week.

Much of my business has come together like this. I show up big for it… and it shows up big for me. As an organic result of what I’ve learned, experienced, embodied—who I Be… shared via the internet or IRL… sparking curiosity of another person who feels resonance and Aliveness and Truth in it.

Not… through a business plan, marketing strategy, carefully curated personal brand…

But through actually living what I teach and create, speaking about the truth of it, trusting the words and feeling will land with the right ones, ***being intentional and strategic in refining the plan/system/strategy/marketing as I go.***

It’s a both thing. Energy led strategy. heArt driven business.

When the offering is True… when you deeply embody what you sell… it speaks for itself, it sells itself, it works for you, AND, the more you refine how you speak about it, how you sell it, how you work for it, the Scale goes 📈

Until you wonder how you got here… but also… makes perfect sense. 🪞
