Some people froth over strategy. How to craft an offering, create content, make a sale, build a team. I froth over the strategy that *creates* strategies… WHO is creating offerings & content & sales, WHO is leading a team… and How they are approaching the how.
I find actual strategy to be super fkn simple. 1+1=2.
And. Let’s be real. You can learn how to start and begin to scale a business through Google. Books. Podcasts. Fuck, ask ChatGPT a question and you’ll have infinite answers provided.
Learn some basics, apply & refine & innovate as you go. <<< this is the true entrepreneurial spirit. Not “needing to know all the how before you start”, which leads you to… replicating someone else’s business model that may or may not work for you because you didn’t devote yourself to discerning and deciding your own way as you went. 🙃
How you pick your how… how you show up to and with and for the how… how you think/feel about and perform in the how…
That’s actually what makes the difference between longterm, sustainable success or not.
The how matters.
But YOU are the differentiating how.
You are The One Who… makes it or breaks it.
You are The One Who… makes the thing you are fkn obsessed with and can sustain and scale for the long run *or* makes the thing you’ll feel trapped in and want to break and rebuild or need sabbatical from to keep your sanity (((with or without realizing that you’ve built your own asylum)))
You, Entrepreneur, are The One Who Creates Worlds.
How you do that…
Depends on the world you want to live in
And who you want to Be in that world
And How you show up for the how
Entrepreneurship is an embodiment game more than a strategy game. Unless you’re building a business in a box or opting into a franchise or MLM model that requires little-no creativity or innovation or uniqueness, it’s just a plug-and-play system to make some cash, which is a slow dull death to the true entrepreneurial soul 💎
