Showing up and sharing yourself authentically and vulnerably, with discernment and intention about what is right for you/for your brand to share publicly. From a place of maturity and wisdom, not from a place of “being fake” (shame keeping you hiding).
Emotional Intelligence in online business is… creating content from a grounded, embodied, intentional place that speaks to your dream client and points to your offerings… versus creating content from a reactive-to-someone-else s-content-or-work-or-Being, unconsciously calling in people who share your limitations and wounds and levels of shame.
Emotional intelligence in online business is… saying what’s true and in alignment with your work, without editing or filtering because you’re afraid of being called out or cancelled or even just seen as bad (shame in action).
Emotional intelligence in online business is… creating offerings through your lived experience and wisdom, that highlight what you want to be known for and consciously builds your brand… versus creating offerings through what you think people will want or what will sound smart or what worked well for someone else, that unconsciously builds your brand through (you guessed it) shame.
Emotional intelligence in online business is… trusting your own inner leadership to make decisions so that you’re innovating and contributing your” gifts to the world versus a watered down version of your mentor’s gifts or an *oopsie poopsie I hopped on what’s trending in the marketplace and created a business I don’t actually like or want anymore*.
Emotional intelligence is… consciously designing a business that is an expression and embodiment of the truth of your heArt’s vision… instead of unconsciously designing a business that is an expression and embodiment of your current upper limits, growing curves, wounding, fears, all repressed by shame and projected into every aspect of your work.
Your *internal experience of* shame is the biggest killer of emotional intelligence… and the greatest detriment to building an embodied business.
