Just as much as it is revealed by the thoughts you think, the feelings you feel, the words you say, the actions you take (or don’t take).
Sometimes (more often than you probably think)… seeing your “hidden” beliefs, limitations… seeing who you are really Being, what you are really Standing For in life, what you are really embodying, can be as simple as looking to your environment. The people, places, things around you.
Requires some radical honesty and often megaaaa ego dissolving… but making change *around you* often sparks far deeper transformation than focusing incessantly on change *within you*.
(Also a conversation to be had that… what you’re surrounded by continually influences you and it’s much harder to get well in an unwell environment so let’s make space for you to develop your well-being.)
Here’s a micro “how”, through an inquiry around the people in your life that—if you’re honest AF about and then *take action* with the new information you gather, will begin to change you on a cellular, subconscious level.
Ask yourself:
What patterns have I normalized in my relationships/social life that I don’t like/want?
Where am I being incongruent, dishonest… about who I am and what I want in relationship? Where am I acting in ways I’m not proud of and know I can do better in? Where am I making excuses for my lies or behavior? Even excuses that stem from a true wound/fear… but I know I’m not taking responsibility to change now?
What behavior do I allow from other people that I don’t want and/or that I wouldn’t allow from myself? Where am I making excuses for other people’s poor behavior instead of holding the standard for who *I* am and what I want?
What is this all showing me about what I believe is possible or available to me? About what I actually get to have or deserve? About what it would mean about/for me if I set boundaries or walked away?
