Healing from trauma requires prioritizing reeling sate to explore emotionally unstable, previously-too-scary-to-explore terrains.
Creating and holding an extraordinary life… a life that is different from what limits/pain was conditioned as ordinary to you… requires prioritizing inner stability (Self Mastery) as you show up in ways that feel unsafe but are actually setting you free.
Healing from trauma requires feeling and healing your past, becoming aware of how what happened then created stories you’re living into now.
Creating and holding an extraordinary life requires radical responsibility for who you are Being now, living new thoughts-feelings-beliefs-actions until your life becomes so good now, your stories about what happened then organically change.
Learning about trauma, learning about your unique infrastructure of pain/dis-ease, how your past influenced your development up to now is important… to a point.
To the point where you have the awareness, you’ve “done the work”, you realize “the work” never actually ends, and you decide to stop stewing in the pain of your past while calling it healing and start standing for your power to create now.
There are infinite rabbit holes of personal and collective pain and suffering to dive into.
It is just as dangerous for the human spirit to get lost in pain as it is to look away from pain.
From one perspective, healing from trauma never ends. From another, it ends the moment you decide to stop living to heal and start… living. Letting the healing happen through love of your life.

Life is your canvas
What happened then taught you how to paint
Now you decide to learn new techniques… or… begin to improvise. Until you’ve created what you love, lost in the presence of making art.
