When an injured baby squirrel follows us around in our yard and cries for help, we are still dropped in and present enough to hear it and our hearts are open enough to prioritize helping it instead of choosing to be too busy.
It’s this for me.
A life that values… life.
A business that is malleable and allows true freedom.
Not just freedom to buy beautiful things and go beautiful places (love these things, live these things)… but rather freedom to value what we value and be present for what matters and live a life we are proud of and still feel connected to the rhythms of nature while living in a busy city and to never forget how delicate and fragile and fleeting life actually is or ever to be too busy to answer the cries of a living being in our yard.
May you never be too busy to remember…
The small things are the big things.
Success is a feeling, not an outcome. Certain outcomes can generate that feeling… but so does the joy of the journey. The presence of the process. The appreciation of the opportunity.
And love… is all that really matters in the end. So make it what matters most in the in-between.
